Battlefield 3: First Person Shooter, Co-Op and Competitive Multiplayer Game
66It All Started With A Battle In 2014
Coming this Fall, on OCTOBER 25th 2011, the most likely candidate for the biggest baddest and most highly anticipated game to be realized on PC, XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 25th October 2011 in North America, and two days later in the United Kingdom and one day after, Australia and New Zealand (and most of the rest of the world)
Late October girlfriends and wives will either love, or hate the time away from their partners as they experience an all new and updated episode of modern warfare based, first person shooter games. Battlefield 3 will delight and upset fans and opposers alike.
What Formats Will It Become Available On?
Battlefield 3 will be available on XBOX 360, PlayStation 3 and PC DVD through all leading retailers and Amazon and direct download though the Origin website owned and operated by EA.
Steam does not yet list a pre-order format as yet, but Direct2Drive does.
There will also be a format available to the iOS platform for the iPod, iPhone and iPad
What Is The Story?
Staff Sergeant Henry 'Black' Blackburn is on a mission to find and locate a previous US squad who's last known position was in a market held by a hostile force. The previous squad were investigating a chemical weapons facility.
Sgt. Blackburn and his squad during their investigation are caught in a massive earthquake whose epicenter is in Iran. Later, Corporal Jonathan 'Jono' Miller takes part in a tank assault upon an enemy rocket battery, before preparing to advance on what appears to be a burning city.

What Are The Games Features?
As with these types of 1st person shooter games, there are several formats and challenges for the game and to make it viable for some time with re-playability.
These features will be;
- Single Player Campaign - A multi-mission game, set in the borders between Iran-Iraq, US forces are combating against the Peoples Liberation and Resistance forces (PLR)
- Co-Operative Play - Play as side by side comrades in split screen, be able to compete against other friends and keep track of events and scores.
- Multi-Player Play - Will see a return of previously player favored classes of Assault, Support, Engineer and Recon. Several modes of gameplay will provide Rush, Squad Deathmatch, Squad Rush and a new mode to the series, Team Deathmatch.
Any New Or Additional Feature Sets?
Yes as with most games, the boundaries and game play has upped the ante on this anticipated release. As well as a sound, graphics and game mode update, details are found with the following;
- Frostbite 2 Engine - An updated all new game/animation engine that takes animation, destruction, lighting, scale and audio to a new level.
- Feel the impact of bullets and explosions, drag your fallen comrades into safety, and mount your weapon on almost any part of the terrain, damage terrain, vehicles and other physic results in an all more photo-realistic gameplay.
- Get into the action and to combat in scenarios with air, land and sea vehicles
- Multiple urban, country side and open terrain fields of combat and fight your way through the areas of unexpected places in the USA, Middle East, and Europe.
- Combat becomes competitive and more social and fun with Battlelog, a free cross-platform social service with built-in text and voice communicator, game statistics and ability to join the game that a friend is already playing (both players need to be on the same platform)
- There are also some exciting new styles of combat play within the game.
